Series Description

Embark on a journey of self-discovery and compassion with our adult expressive arts workshops. Immerse yourself in a variety of artistic modalities, including visual art, sound, writing, and movement while fostering personal growth and emotional well-being.

Driftwood Mobiles

January 31

Working with Inner Wisdom – Driftwood Mobiles

Through parable and poetry we will journey down the road of inner wisdom. We will use metaphor to explore our inner landscape. There will be time for group process and inner process. We will use arts-based research (journaling, movement, visual art) to explore our own capacity for inner wisdom and how our inner wisdom informs our lives at home and in school with our students. During studio time we will make driftwood mobiles.

Working with Community – Pendants

Through story-telling we will explore what community means to us and how we develop it.We will use metaphor to explore our inner landscape. There will be time for group process and inner process. We will use arts-based research (journaling, movement, visual art) to explore community, what it means to us and how we can nurture it. During studio time we will make UV resin pendants.

Tree of Life Wall Hanging

Working with Forgiveness and Self-Compassion-  Tree of Life Wall Hanging

Through story-telling we will embark on a journey to explore both forgiveness of others and ourselves. Self-forgiveness is important work to be able to expand our compassion muscles. We will use metaphor to explore our inner landscape. There will be time for group process and inner process. We will use arts-based research (journaling, movement, visual art) to explore our own relationship to self forgiveness and self compassion.
