Exploring the NEW Countywide Report Cards
August Deshais, Program Manager & Sean Schaefer, Data and Reporting Analyst
Annex
Following Core Growth’s discontinuation, the Humboldt County Office of Education developed updated progress reports for grades TK-6 with input from educators, administrators, HCOE learning specialists, and the Early Childhood Education team. The new progress reports provide more detailed feedback on students’ math and literacy development and growth aligned with the domains of the ELA and math frameworks.
Come to this session to learn more about the organization of, and rationale behind, the new progress reports and have structured opportunities to develop assessment crosswalks to support implementation. Participants are encouraged to bring samples of the assessments used in the grade level(s) taught, including example reports from online assessment platforms used (e.g. Star Reading, Amplify, MAP, IXL, etc).
