Students at economic disadvantage, students of color, multilingual students, and students with disabilities are underidentified as dyslexic, keeping them from the specific interventions that would address their neurodiversity. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While the new dyslexia screening mandatory in 2025-2026 aims to address that inequity, underserved families may also be less receptive due to generational education trauma.
